About the IFR Blog

The Islamic Finance Resources Blog, launched in November 2008, is a combination of information portal, blogroll and search engine that aims to give a one-stop access to Islamic Finance on the web.  Nikan originated the idea of the blog whilst Bernardo has gradually coordinated with the LinkedIn forum.  Khalil and Imtiyaz have contributed from their respective areas of focus and we have had various other supporters and contributors over time.

You can read more about the origins of the blog in an interview conducted by Thomson Reuter's Global Head of Islamic Finance, Rushdi Siddiqui in the December edition of Islamic Business & Finance Magazine (see reference link).

Please continue to check the blog which will grow in size as more deep and insightful information is added to the growing body of web knowledge on Shariah-Compliant banking and finance.
