Announcing a new Islamic Finance Portal

Assalamu Alaikum!
Welcome to Islamic Finance Resources. This is meant as a blog, a portal, a blogroll and a search engine to give one stop access to Islamic Finance on the web. The proliferation of websites both by private individuals, thinktanks, universities and banks is often hard to manage, and information, although available is not easily accessible.

This is meant to aggregate blogs, sites, and news in a single easily comprehensible form. In the coming weeks, Insh'Allah, I shall release a search tool (and put a link on this site) for Islamic Financial Resources on the web. Please continue to check the blogroll which will grow in size as more deep and insightful blogs are added to the growing body of web knowledge on Shariah-Compliant Banking.

And, please offer suggestions. I would like to keep abreast of developments as they occur and I would like to disseminate this same information. Many very useful newsletters and websites have folded only due to the large timecommitments (and the changing circumstances of the contributors). In that you, the user, are able to help maintain whatever you see as useful, this is a collaboration, and Insh'Allah a lasting one.

Jazzak Allahu Khairun!

Nick
